Don’t forget the AIR4 Renewal deadlines: GROUP 3

Don’t forget the AIR4 Renewal deadlines: GROUP 3

As already mentioned in a previous post regarding this topic on AIR4 Renewal Programme, for the work programme, plant protection active substances have been divided into four groups based on the initial expiry date of the active substance approval and presumed characteristics of the substance:

  • Group 1 – Substances with expiry date before 30 April 2019
  • Group 2 – Low-risk substances
  • Group 3 – Substances that may fail to satisfy approval criteria
  • Group 4 – Substances with current expiry dates between 31/07/2019 and 31/12/2021

The substances covered by Group 1 have the earliest expiration dates as we pointed out in our initial Blog Post regarding this topic (Dossier submission by 30/10/2016) and presumed low-risk substances (Group 2) and substances that may fail to meet the approval criteria (Group 3) are prioritised in the work programme and the aim is to evaluate them before their respective expiry dates. In a previous Blog Post, the Group 2 deadlines  were detailed and now, please see below the established deadlines for the renewal dossier submission for Group 3:
