Biocides

Biocidal products are used to protect people, animals, materials or articles from harmful organisms such as pests (insects, rodents, …) or microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses); this is thanks to the action of the active substances contained in the biocidal product. These active substances can range from synthetic chemicals to microorganisms or natural substances. Both the active substances and the final biocidal product require an approval (active substance) /authorisation (product by country) before they can be placed on the market.
