Recording, calculation and reduction of the corporate Environmental Footprint

The European Union’s product or service environmental footprint measures environmental performance throughout the life cycle of a product or service.

In addition to studying the environmental performance of services and/or products, the study of this footprint is also used as a basis for selecting measures focused on reducing the environmental impact of services and products throughout their entire life cycle. This aims to achieve the minimum impact on the environment, as well as to seek supplies with the lowest possible environmental cost.

The Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) is complemented by the Organisation Environmental Footprint (OEF), which applies to all activities of an organisation.
